Craniosacral Therapy
CST is a light-touch manual therapy which releases restrictions within the tissues, facilitating and enhancing the body's own capacity to heal itself.

CST acknowledges the interconnections between the different body systems such as the gut, nervous system, muscles and internal organs.

Craniosacral Therapy is very gentle and relaxing, and therefore suitable for people of all ages and levels of ability. It is absolutely safe when performed by a trained professional, including during pregnancy.

Craniosacral Therapy is ideal for treating babies and young children due to its gentle, non- invasive nature. It can be very effective in the treatment of conditions such as colic, settling difficulties, recurrent ear infections/sinusitis and feeding difficulties.

It is now widely accepted that many problems experienced by babies are attributable to the stresses placed upon the skull during the birth process. The earlier this is addressed the better, and CST can be safely performed from the moment of birth in a healthy newborn.

Somatoemotional Release
It has been shown that stress from past experiences can become trapped within the body's tissues, creating "blockages" and affecting the healing process. This can result in seemingly minor injuries or ailments failing to resolve in the expected timeframe. The release of these "blockages" is known as somatoemotional release (SER).
